Staging Sites Save Client Relationships

Never first-see a redesign on production. A staging URL with the real data shape is cheaper than an apology.

I send a staging link early, even if it is ugly. Clients react to reality, not to Figma alone. The fight you want is on staging.

Production gets a checklist: forms, auth, mobile camera if it exists, and the one browser they actually use.

Passwords and dummy data

Staging should not be production data if production data is people. I have learned that as a sentence I never want to say twice.

The URL should not expire in your head

I keep staging up through launch plus a week. "It worked on my machine" is not a relationship strategy.
