If the client says "something like a dashboard," I ask which decision it supports this month. If they cannot answer, we do not estimate a dashboard. We estimate a discovery that produces the answer.

I send a short recap the same day: in, out, and the first ugly milestone. Silence after that recap is a risk. I chase a yes.

Change is allowed, priced

A new user role is not a vibe. It is a change request. I am not punishing them. I am keeping the original promise honest.

Free extra is how you go broke and resentful

I will fix a bug I caused. I will not quietly add a second app. The relationship lasts longer when the invoice matches the story.
