I design for a human who is already moving. Software narrows the choice, fetches the bin, flags the lookalike. The person still picks the unit.

Fully autonomous claims skip the exception pile, the damaged carton, the guest SKU from a vendor who got creative. That pile is the job.

Measure assist, not replacement

Minutes saved per pick, fewer radios, fewer mis-ships. If the pitch is "remove the operator," you will fight a war you did not need.

Keep the override obvious

Buried overrides are how people invent unsafe shortcuts. A big "not this" is respect, not a lack of faith in the model.
